HRU is always greatly in need of sponsors and donations to care for our horses.
On average, it costs $500 per month to feed, care, and board for each horse, but just $17 covers one full day of their expenses. All donations to Horse Rescue United are tax-deductible: we are a non-profit 501(c)3 organization.
Gift sponsorships / sponsor packets starting at $50!
If you make a tax-deductible donation of $50 or more, fill out our form to sponsor a horse and receive a special packet with a sponsor certificate, horse's printed biography and HRU horse magnet.
These packets make great gifts for the holidays, Valentine's Day, birthdays or for sympathy. For gift sponsorships, we will include an appropriate greeting card based on your selection.
Ways to help
HRU accepts donations via PayPal, Venmo, check, money order, or via participation in iGive. We also regularly update wish lists on Amazon and Chewy with items needed for the horses.
